What are the differences between EVO X and NXT?

There are 3 main differences between the Voyager EVO X and Voyager NXT.

1. Wheels. The EVO Wheel System is our in-house designed wheel system. It is machined from T6 6061 aerospace aluminum and is much lighter (by approx. 15lb (6.8 kg) for 4 wheels) that the NXT's steel wheel system. The EVO Wheel system uses 100% sealed bearings resulting in a smoother, quieter ride, and requires less maintenance. The NXT wheels are built around a steel castor that is much heavier and uses exposed ball-bearings that should be greased occasionally. Additionally, the NXT's footbrake makes the wheel considerably larger than that of the EVO.

2. Adjustable Top Shelf Height. The EVO uses our SLAS shelf design which allows up to 10 In. (25.4 cm) in top shelf height adjustability. This feature often comes in handy if you like standing desk height or if you need more space on the bottom shelf to accomodate larger cases.

3. Top Shelf. The Voyager EVO models come standard with the X-Top Keyboard Top Shelf that includes a removable Closeout and Integrated Threaded Rail Plates. The NXT comes standard with that 4 sided top shelf that also includes Integrated Threaded Rail Plates. We do sell the Voyager top shelf's separately should you want to swap the X-top shelf for the 4-sided top shelf, or vice versa down the road.
