Instructions: Bottom Drawer for Deploy Gen IV

Step-by-step instructions to install your INOVATIV Deploy Gen IV workstation cart.

Tools Needed: 
5/32” Allen Key, 7/16 or 11mm Socket or Wrench, 1/4” Drill Bit and Drill

Deploy Gen IV Workstations

1. Remove the (4) existing 1/4-20 x 1-3/8” bolts and nylocks (Red) securing the lower frame cover to the lower frame as pictured below. (Note: Do not remove the center 1/4-20 x 1-3/8” bolt that is highlighted in green.)

2. Install the (2) Drawer Plates and Slides to the lower frame using the (8) 1/4-20 x 1-3/8” bolts (green) and nylocks (orange) that are provided with the bottom drawer kit. 

3. Install the lower frame drawer cover using (2) of the (5) 1/4-20 x 1-3/8” bolts and nylocks provided in the bottom drawer kit. The bolts (green) go from the top down through the cover, through the frame, and then capped with the nylocks from below (orange). Use (2) more 1/4-20 x 1-3/8” bolts through both sides of the workstation (green) – shown in diagram (D) and cap with nylocks from inside the bottom drawer area. 

4. Install the drawer by lining the drawer slides (mounted beneath the bottom drawer) to the drawer slide receivers mounted to the bottom of the workstation. Once aligned, slowly push the drawer into place until the slides have engaged with each other. Once engaged the drawer will need force to pull open, and close. 

5. Slowly pull the drawer to its open position. Apply a small amount of Red Thread-Locker to the internal threads of the short lock stop. Install the short lock stop by passing the (5th) 1/4-20 x 1-3/8” bolt (green) through the center hole of the cover, through the frame, into the short lock stop (red). Tighten by rotating the short lock stop on the bolt until it's snug to the frame. 

6. Rotate the combo lock to the left, push the drawer in, rotate the combo lock to the right and now the drawer should be locked in place.

SETTING THE COMBINATION DRAWER LOCK

1. The factory combination is set at “0-0-0”.
2. The combination must be set on the factory number prior to resetting.
3. On the underside outer edge of the lock there is a hole for the code reset button. Rotate the face of the cam until the code reset button comes into view.
4. Depress the pin with a paper clip and keep it pushed in…
5. Set your personal combination by turning dials to the desired combination digits.
6. Release the reset button and your combination is set.
7. To lock, rotate lock to “locked” position. Rotate one or more digit dials after lock is closed. To open lock, turn dials to personal combination.
